VROEG ELITE (“EARLY ELITE”) Players ‘demonstrate’ ability to compete with one or more outstanding Character Attributes & Player Benchmarks.

-Our Vroeg Elite Team is composed of Pool & Roster players.

-They will have League (Saturdays), potential Friendly Matches (Saturday or Sunday), or Tournament games on weekends.

Although the structure is the same, we separate Vroeg under our Elite Teams because the expectations are different for players at this age. They are new to the culture, and understanding the responsibility, & commitment it takes to be a part of a competitive team. We want to create a competitive environment for these players, while allowing them to balance family life & other activities. We travel less for tournaments, and stay to home for League games so that this is possible.

Vroeg Elite: 1 nearby tournament per season. U10 & U11 Elite: 1-2 tournaments per season. Each team will be given a list of Tournament options &have the autonomy to pick which ones they would like to play in U12- U14 Elite: 2-4 tournaments per season. Each team will be given a list of Tournament options &have the autonomy to pick which ones they would like to play in.

ELITE TEAMS

Player and Parent Commitment Expectations – VITESSE is a program offered in the Fall and Spring seasons, with various summer training & winter training opportunities. As a member of VITESSE, I hereby understand and acknowledge that participation with a VITESSE team requires commitment and dedication to training two-three times per week (varies by Program & Team) during the Fall and/or Spring seasons, with games and/or Tournaments on the weekend, optional participation in the summer/winter programs, and attending club wide community events. The training and play expectations outlined below reflect VITESSE’s intended training schedule, but they are subject to change. Fall Season: 1. Pre-Season As leaders of our teams & club, it is expected for ELITE ROSTER players to attend Pre-Season Activities.

2. Team training (1 day per week) begins approximately August 14th and will run through early August-November. The day for team training, League Selection & Tournament options will be made at our coaches meetings the week of June 12th. Thereafter, communications will be sent via GotSoccer. Team calendars will be tentatively set & posted on GotSoccer by the end of June.

3. Club 5v5 Training with Player Action every Tuesday. Academy & Elite programs will combine. They will play together on the turf & grass fields at our facility. At VITESSE, “Player Action” is defined as a specific skill set, motion, or concept, necessary for a player to be successful in the game of soccer.i.e., Communication, First Defender, Speed Dribble, etc.

4. Elite Invitational Training is for all Rostered Players U11+. These Trainings will be held on Mondays & will begin the week of September 25th. We will require your RSVPs on GotSoccer once calendars are uploaded.

5. League Play Games will be on Saturdays. Teams will be scheduled for 1-2 games on each date.League selection will be based on each team’s level of competition. Elite Roster players are expected to be available & committed to each date, unless communicated at the beginning of season.

6. Friendlies Considering weather, and potential cancellations outside of our control with League Play we want to make sure we have additional games scheduled for our teams. These will typically be scheduled for Sundays so as to not interfere with League Play.
